Remove a Macro from an Object or Chart

Example: We have a macro attached to a graphic object (such as a piece of clip art or a chart), and we want to "unassign" the macro, without assigning another macro.

1.      Right click the object or chart and choose Assign Macro.

2.      At the Assign Macro dialog box, the assigned macro's name will appear in the Macro name box.

3.      Press your Delete key to clear the name, and then click OK.

4.      Click away from the object to de-select it.

5.      When you move the mouse pointer over an object or chart that has been assigned a macro, the mouse pointer changes to a pointing hand.  If a chart no longer has a macro assigned, the pointer changes to an arrow; if an object no longer has a macro assigned, the pointer changes to a four-headed arrow.
